2024 Music Tech Summit

On September 26, Music Publishers Canada hosted its annual Music Tech Summit. Traditionally a members-only event focused on music tech partnerships for publishers, this was the second year MPC hosted a parallel stream of programming geared towards songwriters.

This full day of learning and networking featured presentations from Meta, Amazon Music, Apple, Curve Royalty Systems, YouTube, TikTok, Business Development Bank of Canada, and Spotify. The publisher group also enjoyed a discussion on AI between Casey Chisick (Cassels) and Shannon Sorensen (National Music Publishers' Association). 

MPC was also happy to have Jesse Jones join us as host for both sessions.
